Peter, Peter pumpkin eater

Had a wife and couldn't keep her.

He put her in a pumpkin shell.

And there he kept her very well.

Craft:

What you need:

• paper towel roll
• 2 toilet paper rolls
• various colors of paper for clothes and hats
• black marker to draw faces
• orange paint for pumpkin
• paint brush
• scissors
• green pipe cleaner
• hot glue gun and stick

Instructions for pumpkin:

1. Paint the paper towel roll orange except for 1 inch from the top. The top 1 inch should remain brown because this will be the stem.
2. Let paint dry.
3. Cut from the bottom to 1 inch from the top (the brown section/"stem") 5 times to create 5 equal sized strips.
4. Hot glue the 5 strips together at the bottom while gently bending each strip to make the round shape.

   An adult should use the hot glue gun as a safety precaution.

5. Hot glue the green pipe cleaner to the "stem."
